Orders ship from Denver, Colorado, packed by hand. geoslut is a one-woman shop, so the person who photographed your piece is the person who packs it. Denver is only where a piece ships from: its label still names the locality where it was actually mined.

Exactly the piece in the photo is what ships, because every piece is one of one and photographed in daylight before it goes up. There is no "similar to pictured" here: every natural ding, inclusion and color zone you see is in the box.
Cancellations before an order ships
Cancellations are accepted before an order ships. Email hi@geoslut.com with your order details, and the sooner you write, the better.
When your piece arrives
When your piece arrives, unwrap it over a soft surface, because small tips and soft minerals chip easily. Quartz can be rinsed in plain water, while soft minerals like celestite should stay dry and out of strong sun. The care notes on each piece page say which is which.
