I have been selling crystals since 2018, on Etsy as TheDaysDivinity, where I have made 671 sales and hold a 5.0 rating. geoslut is my own shop, built on the same habits and dressed in my poster style: a short, loud line up top and a plain specimen label underneath.

Photographed like a portrait

Every piece on geoslut is photographed like a portrait, because I used to be a portrait photographer. I shoot each one myself, in daylight, and the stone in the photo is the stone in the box. No stock photos, and no "similar to pictured."

Facts first, lore labeled

Facts come first here, and lore gets labeled as lore. I care more about the science of a stone, and where it really came from, than about any powers it is supposed to have. You will find folklore and history on geoslut, marked as belief or history, right next to the formula, the hardness and the locality.

Every label names the locality

Every label names the mineral and its locality, the place it was actually mined. A crystal without a locality is a pretty rock with no backstory, and I would rather tell you it came from San Juan County, Colorado, or Minas Gerais, Brazil. How I pick and label pieces is in sourcing and ethics.
